In the last decades, the
development of computer technologies has
provide new tools for artistic creation. The geometrization of the the
art proposed initially by Cezanne and follows by many others artist, in
particular by Kandisky, tries to decompose the scene in elemental
objects like circle, square, triangles, polygons, etc. In
this
work, we explore the possibility of computer technologies to generate
synthetic artistic images. Based on very simple basic objects
(ellipses, triangles, rectangles, polygons, etc..) we
generate
images by defining a number of object combination rules.
These
rules includes scale information, size, oclussions, transparencies,
etc.. Once all these rules are defined, the computer generates images
using these rules and a random procedure. In the next web
page
you will find a collection of images generated using this
approach (DEMO)
